Updating A Rom To Get Gps..how Easy Is It?
 

Im a bid of a newbie to this

I want to update my rom so I can have GPS instead of the external.
Reading the directions It seems pretty simple
I sort of got scared when it said DONT TRY TO USE WHILE IN PROGRESS OR THE PHONE WILL HAVE TO BE TAKEN IN TO FIX lol

So shoud I just put all my programs on activesync and than turn the phone of and install?

Is there much difference on this newer rom?
I have 2.09.651.3

I know its peobably been asked before so forgive me lol

I think you can jump to the new sprint rom 3.35 from htc website, if you don't like it, you can still go back to your current rom. Use SPB backup to back up your whole system to storage in case you want to go back to your 2.09 rom. Even better, you can flash to no2chem rom 2.1 which is very good and stable. I love it!
