Pros and cons vs. cooked rom to stock

I see people talking about custom or cooked roms and was wondering why I would need one opposed to just customizing the original. I have also seen posted that if your ppc needs service to flash back to the orig. with a hard reset but at the same time have read that it will only flash back to the cooked rom not factory. So what are pros and cons

there are many pros to using cooked roms lie some of them have wm 6.1 in them and other s have many apps in them and others are clean as a whistle and ready for your customization.

When a person does a hardreset....it just reload what ever rom is loaded on the phone at that time.

There are alot of "pros"... here is one when you remove the junkware it frees up internal memory and freeing up as much internal is very important for the phone to operate smoothly.

One "cons" is when you cook a rom with a certain program..and you want to upgrade the program, most of the time you will get an error, cause it cannot uninstall due to being cook into the rom, so if you are thinking of upgrading dont have the program cooked into the rom.

There will be more to come from members chiming in.
