Insignia bluetooth headset

I have recently purcahsed the insignia bluetooth headset. I can get it to sync with my phone, but i cannot get it to sync with my computer. IT came with a usb dongle. There is software that you can download from the site, but the .exe is having trouble installing. Ive called up insignia and i could not understand the lady. i think i knew more than she did. Anyways, does anyone have any ideas on how i get this workign with my cpu? Thanks.

Also, in the user manual it says their is a multifunction button. This does not even resemble the multifunction button on the actual headset i have.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Re: Insignia bluetooth headset

just a general no brainer here but did the dongle install correctly? if so when you search for blue tooth devices does it show up? the pass code for all insignia products is 0000 i believe, oh and most bluetooth devices are only "findable" within a time frame after powering it on just something to be aware of

Re: Insignia bluetooth headset

Insignia is best buy's store brand.
Most of their products are crap, same with Dynex.
They are cheaply made and normally fail on day 31, right outside the return policy.
I would take it back and get a real headset.
