ActiveSync problems

Basically what I am trying to do is back up my mogul before I install the update for it.

I am trying to sync my contacts from my mogul to a windows based computer running microsoft activesync. The contacts option is grayed out and it tells me to run outlook on my mogul. As far as I know, i dont have outlook on my mogul and I dont know how to get it.

Can someone tell me where to get outlook for my mogul or tell me a good free syncing program for windows?

Thanks!

Re: ActiveSync problems

It doesn't mean Outlook as in "on your Mogul" friend, but it means on your computer. The program is called Microsoft Outlook, and the 2007 version should have came with your installation CD (if you bought the Mogul brand new). It's a 60 day trial, which i think is gay, so I got it another way. (I'm coming from Palm that gives you a free PIM manager for your desktop).

Any-who, purchase a copy of Outlook at Microsoft's site, or install it from your installation cd, and pay for it 60 days later.

Re: ActiveSync problems

or for a simpler method, download pimbackup and save your contacts to your storage card, then restore them using pimbackup after you update your phone
