Auto Convert Landscape from Portrait

Crazy Idea? Challenge for Developer??

detecting when to convert the screen view from portrait to landscape...can a developer program something for us...?

My idea. A program (small) that runs silently on startup which places a focal point where x = portrait.

If x = moves y Degree right,
then
landscape right.

if x = moves y Degree left,
then landscape left.

if x = opposite of focal point,
then switch screen

I know there's so many variations, but it's only software.
