Swappping activation between 2 phones?
 

Wondering if anyone has done it personally.

Say I own a Mogul & a clean Touch. I decide to use the Mogul for 1 day. The next day, I go to Sprint's site and activate the Touch (I assume I'll deactivate the Mogul in the process) use the touch for a day and the day after, re-activate the Mogul and shutdown the Touch.

Can this be done or its it not that simple?

I think it can be done, but there might be an activation fee each time you do it.

F***!!! I wonder, I hope not, that'd be annoying as hell...
Ugh, I miss sim cards... I'm going to throw down and make an attempt until I see them ask for $$.

OHHHH! YEAH, cost free baby.

Really urked me that I had to use IE to do it but yeah, its a quick process.

Looks like I can enjoy the best of both worlds until my Mogul replacement comes! :D

This weekend I'll use the Touch, Monday+ its back to the Mogul & repeat. :p

So, on Sprint's site you can activate/deactivate phones without any surcharge?

Doesn't mention any charge (before, during or after), I Ctrl+F-ed the entire page, all it shows is the instructions how & the box to activate/deactivate the phone.


Everything its instantaneous, its that much quicker if you memorized your HEX code for both phones & the MDN & MSID.

I don't have the Touch anymore so the hioneymoon is over but, now I know its almost the equivalent to swapping a SIM card.

negative on the swap charges. Only time they charge a fee is if you are buying a phone out of the store. Basically its your equipment you should be able to swap all you want ya know?
