It is now apparent that the Hermes can now use its own stand alone GPS thanks to custom from for the Trinity. Now, the only question I have is whether we can use what was learned to get closer to enabling the GPS within the HTC Apache or any other HTC device. Ahh! Time to run off to class!

Trinity only, Hermes is not working yet. Just FYI.

Trinity and Hermes have the same exact GPS equipment, but the Apache came out a few years before, so I'm not sure if you can get it working.

That is what I figured as much. I was hoping that any information gleaned from this would help those attempting to unlock the GPS on HTC devices (specifically for my Apache ;) ).

Unlocking GPS on the 6700 would be awesome!
