Very strange internet problem..

Today I tried to connect my phone to the internet by opening internet explorer like I always do. However, it will not connect to the internet saying "cannot connect. Make sure your phone is turned on, or tap settings to check your connection settings."

yet, the sites I type in still load fine?! I just get that error every time I tried to load something new. I tried a soft reset and it didnt work as well as pulling the battery and putting it back in.

Anyone ever have this problem before? very annoying

I've had that issue a couple of times try running the iota and it should clear it up at least it did for me if u dont know how to get there.......tap the phone button>menu>options>
services>scroll to internet>get settings>start which starts the iota program aka data provisioning then wait til the iota disappears & try it again should work ok!

Try a soft reset and see if it still happens. Also, which ROM are you running?

Re: Very strange internet problem..

I got it working again! thanks for your help guys. If anyone is having this problem on the stock rom, just go to settings and edit the sprint connection, just run through each option without changing anything, at the end it will test and it connected fine

very strange but im glad its working again
