caller id over bt hack
 

i was talking to a friend over my jawbone and an incoming call comes in. i heard and knew who was on the other line. and i asked myself, how does making a call allows you to hear another person incoming call? what service or services activate when you are making a call? can someone hack the registry to memic this? to always turn on when your bluetooth is connected? i think it will solve the issue of caller id over bluetooth.

i heard of a program that does this, caller id transfer, but i can't find it.

That is correct "Caller ID Transfer", wow that was long time ago stuff 8) , it will allow the Caller ID from MSVC to be xfer to the BT, all it does is open the audio gateway when a call comes in so that you can hear the MSVC speaking, but the only problem was the ringing and the speaking of MSVC would overlap sometime, the only way around was to have a silent ringtone or place the phone in vibrate, this issue was never fixed we just had to deal with it..... might still be able to d/l at pdaphonehome.com which was another site many of us d/l it from besides PPCGeeks....since changing servers most searches will not reflect past post beyond a certain time frame. That is probley why you cannot locate a thread about "Caller ID Transfer".

can anyone point out a way to make my samsung i760 have this feature? it will be much appreciative. i have installed bad sector's program and it doesn't work.
