Exclamation i760 rom dump on FTP is a fake

I don't really know where this should go, so I'm sticking it here. I'm not really ever coming back here anyway, so if it gets deleted or moved or whatever I don't really give a crap, I just thought I should point it out to somebody.

Anyway, if you download the i760 dump.bin from the FTP and open it in a Hex editor, you'll see that it only actually contains 2.78KB of data, followed by 128MB of zeros (read: no data).

You (site owners) might want to delete it to save yourselves from serving up 128MB of fake file over and over again.

Certainly explains why whoever uploaded it didn't bother to compress it to save space, doesn't it?

Re: i760 rom dump on FTP is a fake

Well giving that this user is not coming back, and the user name translates to be Evil Troll, I will lock this.

Unfortunately, this is a risk of using public FTPs, anyone can upload files. Users must be very careful when downloading files off of ANY public site/FTP.

Nonetheless, we are having someone examine the file and take action as necessary.

Thanks for the warning, sorry you won't stay and play.
