Facebook and Windows Mobile

I know there have been threads in the past asking about FB apps on WM. I have not been able to find any, and I thought it was kind of curious as that the tools to develop such applications were released in November 2007.

Facebook Development with the .NET Compact Framework

Anyone have any insight as to why it has taken so long? Or this is the normal time period to wait for these kind of apps to be developed?

I wish I were a developer to start working on this, maybe I'll check if I am elegible for the DreamSpark program and score myself a copy of MS Visual Basic 2005 and learn.

that would be a great idea Pibe. all it needs is a good name, like Facebook Mobile or something. i'd hop on this like a cheerleader in a frathouse if there was such an app such as this. thanks for the idea.

I am still waiting on confirmation by that third party company because my university was not listed.

No clue as to what I would try to learn, last programming I did was on Basic

This what I get... I don't use OpenDNS as my DNS, but when a DNS does not answer OpenDNS seems to inform me.

Yikes, www.cellspin.com isn't loading right now.

The computers that run www.cellspin.com are having some trouble. Usually this is just a temporary problem, so you might want to try again in a few minutes.

Facebook today plugin?

Does anyone here know of an application that will directly interface with Facebook? I would like to be able to be able to update my status and view my friends and notifications and what not from my phone without using their ghetto facebook mobile.

Thanks, Dan.

Note: I have been searching Google for a while now with no results.
