Can you share files with bluetooth w/other phones on ppc670

Over x-mas the family kept trying to synchronize our bluetooth phones with each other to see if we could get files pics or contacts... no one, nor I could look into anyones phone or could they look into mine. (yes, we all had the allow option turned on) Anyone know if our PPC-6700 cant do that?

i shared pics with a motorola razr. you have to let the ppc 6700 look for a while. setup a connection with the other phone via bluetooh, and then choose beam. it will take a minute, but eventually it will start sending.

I have beamed from my 6700 to a Treo 650 and a sammy a920 so I know you can send to other phones ..

yeah, you just have to give it a minute.

affirmative sir, its possible as along as the phone you are working with is capable of doing it as well. Remember that some phones are not capable receiving nor transmiting data, like the KATANA from sprint, it is bluetooth, but wont do anything else besides hadsets that I am aware of....to begin with , it barely has 4MB memory and much of it taken by the phone.
