iPhone and Mobile Broadband: How-To
http://www.phonenews.com/content/view/1736/9/ Actuall, that's not a bad idea! Basically, have a junker Sprint phone with BT 2.0 and EvDO. Have the iPhone leach off of it for internet. You'll get faster speeds and it'll be cheaper. For phone functions: pre-paid SIM card. Downside: have to buy the iPhone for probably $900 out of contract.

Call me crazy, but I'm not overly impressed with the iPhone they revealed. Does it look sweet? Sure. But I'm in Wireless Sales and I think I know how people will react to this thing...
Price - Pretty steep for the average user. I see Apple fanboys all over this thing though. Functionality - On screen keyboard and dialer makes this a deal breaker for me and alot of others. Try driving and dialing with that thing. Yes I know NO ONE does that  Also how's that screen gonna look in the sunlight, one of the main complaints I get about the 6700? Warranty - Is this gonna be covered by Cingular's Lockline insurance? I doubt it, they don't cover smartphones and I doubt they'll cover this. So you're probably gonna buy an AppleCare warranty with it. Does Apple understand the difference between a customer being w/o their ipod or macbook and being without their phone? I work for a CDMA carrier, so I know that I don't have to worry about any of these things, but I sense that there will be some growing pains here. I also hope to see some more "traditional" phone designs from Apple that incorporates the storage capacity but offers a more phone friendly device. Wow...didn't mean to make this a novel....

i would never own an apple phone or an ipod. it is a big scam to me. i hate everything about the ipod. it is always ipod this, ipod that. say ipod backwards- "dopi"

wow... I just listened to the normally totally windows-mobile centric 'mobility today' podcast, and man have they been drinking the apple cool-aide. Get ready for the apple-hype-train, because they're cranking it up big time.

i'm not a big apple fan, in fact, i don't like them at all...but their phone looks really good so far.
