Anyone else have the $20/month for u/l data and 800 texts?

I have a plan with Verizon, for $20/month I get u/l data and 800 regular texts plus 100 pix/vid texts and was curious if anyone else had this as well? I posted some information in another topic
http://ppcgeeks.com/unlimited-data-p...ges-t1123.html

But I am just wondering if I am the only one well me and my friend who told me about it, were the lucky ones to get it? If you have any questions about it look at the other topic to see if you can figure it out and if not ask away. I have received a bill while using it and it is u/l data so. Here's to hoping

I've been reading the posts (here and howardforums) and it seems you are the only ones that got that plan. I looked at the screen shots of your bill you had and I noticed it said Max Choice and listed your plan. But I also saw it had a date below it, is that the bill date or was that maybe the only time Verizon offered this (but didn't announce it)? I can almost swing for getting the data package at $20 a month. That'd be nice if I could finally have the internet no matter where I go....I'd then never accomplish anything every again though.

Hey I am checking on my bill right now as I've just recieved another one haha...I'm gonna look into the 'max choice' I am not sure what that is but maybe its a mistake ont their part? In which case I really shouldn't have this feature but the guy gave it to me anyway? On my newbill I did not notice the 'max choice' So I don't know what's going on. What happened was me and my friend were complaining to them about how we had a text/pic messaging plan the 10/month for ul in plus 500 out, and we were still getting charged for data too even though we were already paying for a texting plan that should include it. Aka when I sent a pic/vid message i'd not only get charged for a text but also all the data that it took for it to be uploaded or dloaded. This PISSED the both of us off so we were like you're telling us we need to get the 45/month as an insurance so we can send pic messages without getting extra charges...you guys are idiots if most people knew this they'd get so mad it woldnt even be funny. I can't believe you dont have a txt/data plan for our phones and then the lady was like.................................we do...........and what i have now is that plan. But I'm gonna go back and check my last months bill to see if I'm listed as max choice somewhere.

xmind,

Walk me through where you see that cause I looked online again and could not find where it said that. Then I'll let you know what the dates meant. I can also post my bill for this month after you let me know where it says that so we can compare to figure it out.

Sorry I mis-spoke about reading that post on howardforums it was actually on the post above (I've been reading a lot of forums lately and they have been kind of blending on me).

Anyway, on page four of your original post http://ppcgeeks.com/unlimited-data-p...,start,45.html
You posted a bill.zip file. In that zip is a "bill part 1.bmp" and below the unlmited PDA is a date 11/28 - 12/9 and was just curious as to what the date was.

In regards to the "Max Choice" option, I don't know. I wrote it down so that I'd call about it, but now I can't find where I saw that. Maybe I've spent too much time at work and on all the forums and not enough time sleeping.

xmind,

Those dates were dates that it was prorated because I switched to that plan on the 28th and the 9th is when my billing cycle is up. The 8.00 is prorated price and then you see another 20$ charge which is the 'month ahead of time' charge. So I don't believe it has anything to do with when it was available. Also Kryptoniteman wrote this

Ok so I finally got a rep that knew about this plan. He said it's a max choice option on a single line plan with 4000 minutes. So I'm guess that's the plan you have right?
Maybe thats what you thought when you said max choice? Not sure but its in the other thread. But yeah to my knowledge I have no max choice plan

Just an FYI, but I did call about this and they said they no longer offer this "package" and said it would $44.95/month for unlimited data.

hmm...well that is unlucky...i have it but my 700w is giving me a hard time right now so if i swap it out they damn well better give me the same plan, there is no way in hell im gonna pay 25 more dollars for the unl - 800 + 100 texts thats just ridiculous. Ithink i'll swap it and if they say that its not working i'll tell them they can keep their refurb.
But if i end up doing this i'll let you know and the results.
