HTC D3D & DDraw Drivers

Okay, so its a generally known fact that HTC isn't including proper drivers for their new phones using the Qualcomm 7200 and 7500 chipsets. These chipsets have built in ATI Imageon graphics chipsets, making them more power then a Nintendo DS, and sadly enough, almost as powerful as a PSP or PS2. So, someone explain to me why we suffer with lag while scrolling and such? Coz those drivers aren't there? Why can't someone just find the appropriate drivers and put them where they need to be? Edit the registry to point to the correct drivers, not the ones that don't work for crap?
