idiot noob asks: Can SD cards be paired?

Ok, I cant be the first to think of this but here it goes. I was wondering what it would take wire 2 micro SD cards together and cram it in my 6700. 2 MICRO's side by side is larger than a MINI (1 micro=6mm 1 mini=10mm i think)
But If I pulled the camera I think they could be stack one on top of the other. Anyone have the firts clue as to how they would need to be wired? (series, parallel, ect) Also what kind of drivers would be needed? It would be nice to stack 2 8 gig micros or 2 of the snazzy new 16gig micros dropping in June. Any feed back would be great

THANKS!

Or... you could buy an 8 or 16 GB micro with a miniSD adapter and not risk screwing up your phone. I'm all for ideas, but can't say that I'd risk destroying my phone when there is a fairly low cost solution pre-made.

I think you missed the point. 8 gig is the largest micro currently available.I know the 16gig will drop soon. If I can pair 2 8gigs( or eventually 2 16 gig card) I will be on my way to some respectable storage numbers. Also Im not scarred of messing up the phone. I've had it for more than 2 years now and ripped it apart numerous time.

one thing i don't understand is why phone companies don't make more than one expansion slot in phones. With microsd they are small enough to barely make a difference in the size of the phone. could you imagine 6 memory slots under your battery? like now when i have my 2 gig full i could just buy a 4 gig and not have to ditch my 2 gig card.
