Re: Should I Leave Verizon?

Hello to all...I am new to this site main thing turning me onto it was my recent research into SERO...which lead into new phone research etc.. I have been with Sprint for like 8 years or so and until two weeks ago when a friend of mine mentioned SERO I didn't even know it existed.

So now I am at the point of going through the sero sign up process and noticed that you need a valid referral from a sprint employee. I know alot of people say just go into a sprint store and grab an addy off a random business card but I am leary.

1.) i don;t want to get anyone in hot water from my highjacking of their email addy
2.) I don't want to get notified two weeks from now that the person i used new nothing about referring me and subsequently get dropped.

I hate to ask since I see so many people doing it but if at all possible would someone be willing to provide me with a referral? I would be greatful.

Thinking of going with the mogul and hope the official rev a comes soon.

Thanks again and I hope this is appropriate. PM would be great.

Re: Should I Leave Verizon?

I was with verizon for 4 years. I found Sero on sprint, signed up and now i save 80 dollars a month and get x2 more features. Verizon package was 109.99 for 450 minutes with unlimited data and insueance with roadside assistance. Thats all. Anythuing else is extra. With lovely SERO I get everytthing I had with verizon except no roadside assistance but 750 minutes rather than 500.And for bunus on Sero I got 6 to 6 evening minutes, unlimited text, unlimited pixmail, super fast rev a and Tep. All this for a small charge of 37.00 a month. You cannot beat SERO.BTW, coverage in CA is equally or better than verizons. Only complaint I have is why was I not on SERO BEFORE! I would have saved $3700.00 over those 4 years with verizon! As for CS, its improving, heres a tip..... dont dial*4 for any help. You will get a foreigner that has no clue with any question you ask. Call retentions directly and theymprovide excellent CS.

Re: Should I Leave Verizon?

you mean to say *2, *4 is minutes. There is a list of helpful numbers at phonenews.com in their encyclopedia. their bump to front numbers are usually in the us, but retentions can do anything as well. The problem is that the more people call direct to retentions the more often they change the number, or at least that is how it used to be.

Re: Should I Leave Verizon?

The service is really that bad. I am leaving Sprint in the morning. I have a 6700 the reception has been good, but the customer service has been nothing short of a nightmere!!!

Does any know if you can reprogram the Sprint 6700 to work on VZN networks?

Re: Should I Leave Verizon?

No, Verizon will not load the ESN into their databases at this point.
