Question HTC HD Active Synch Problems With Vista....

All was working fine for over a year with calender etc., then I synched all my music, and chose to use Windows Media Player to synch to my SD card.

Now my laptop and Windows Mobile Device Center, does not recognize my phone only the SD card, and retries to synch, resulting a message on the phone memory low, when heaps remains.

When I open WMDC to alter settings, it says connecting forever, but never connects as it does not recognize the phone, only the SD card.

I need help to resolve this issue, and no longer ever want to use Windows Media Player to ever synch more; but need to synch appointments and contacts every day almost.

Thanks for any help.... Allan

Try deleting the partnership on your pc and then reboot. Then reconnect your device and set up the partnetship again and select items to sync.

Re: HTC HD Active Synch Problems With Vista....

Thanks, I tried as suggested.

Also deleted/ended all synch partnerships set up in Media Player
.

Upon reconnection of my phone, WMDC is still trying to connect, after like 45 min.

So still no luck....

Thererfore any other suggestions are welcome....

Cheers.... Allan

I'd say now remove/uninstall Windows Mobile Device Center on your PC and delete remove any partnerships on your mobile device. Then reinstall WMDC and reconnect your device and set up your partnership again.
