Skype 14.95 means unlimited calls to....
 

anywhere in the US or canada, but this is if you purchase before Jan. 1st after then it will be 30 dollars a year which is bad at all if the quality were better on 1x I would probably pick this up. Thoughts?

Even on evdo the sound is crappy. I wouldn't put down $14.95 for it. Most cellphone plans have free national calling already. The only benefit is to call canada and I'll not use enough to justify for the $14.95. (yeah I am cheap. :D )

I only used 10.00 credit on skype to call mexico, quality is between crappy and somewhat ok even on EVDO, theres also a delay on voice. mino is better quality but they don't have an app for wm5 and its prepaid. currently I'm using sprint to mexico, 5 bucks unlimited calls to the mexican border and 5 cents everywhere in mx.

Actually I'm very surprised at the quality with the new beta - and app itself is much improved - it's actually usable! I plunked down my $14.95 just to be able to use it with my laptop and video camera when I'm traveling, and installed it on my 6700 to use with wifi in Mexico. - sheureka

Since I signed up when it was free, but have not used it at all, will they try to charge me? how do i get rid of it? And get it off my phone? I cant even remember my "password"
