Got TP2 with EnergyROM, have voice but no data
 

I have a Moto Q9C on SERO. Got a TP2 from a friend. It gives me errors when I try to browse:

"Cannot Connect
Dialed: #777
Cannot connect for an unknown reason. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap Settings...", etc.

Settings, About phone, hardware information shows no username, etc.

If I run "Carrier Provisioning" from Start, Tools and pick "Sprint", then it fills in the username of my buddy@sprintpcs.com.

Help...

I've been reading, and it seems that I have to flash back to the stock ROM, then go back to EnergyROM (or whatever ROM). Is that correct?

Edit: nevermind. Put 6.5 rom on it.

Had the same thing happen to my TP2 after coming back to it after trying android for a couple months. Reset, reflased, reinstalled everything a couple times, nothing worked. Finally called Sprint and they had to reprogram it. You need MSL number(think thats right) and do ##data# and reprogram if I remember right. It will reboot the phone but everything will stay as you have it.

sounds like you need to update your profile/prl/firmware (maybe)
i had issues with Energy ROM before and this .cab fixed it all, so i use it all the time now...

do a search for this file - MR.X Sprint PRL FW Profile Update.cab

p.s. - it will put 3 shortcuts in your settings/system menu, select each one and let them finish thier process before moving to the next one, soft reset when done...

p.s.s. - if that doesnt work try a "task 29" followed by the above...
