All day events appear one day early during daylight savings

On my Verizon Touch Pro 2 (TP2) running Windows Mobile 6.1, all day events appear one day early during daylight savings. Other events with a start and end time appear during their correct time. This bug has been reproduced on Windows Mobile 6.1 and 6.5 phones on Verizon and AT&T networks. I have reproduced this bug using Microsoft's Exchange server 2007 and Google's calendar server as the server source. All events causing this display bug were created on either Outlook 2007, Outlook 2010 or OWA or Firefox accessing Google's calendar. For example, if I create an all day event using OWA or Outlook on Friday March 19th 2010, after sync, it will display as an all day event on Thursday, March 18th on the TP2, while appearing on the correct date of Friday March 19th using OWA or Outlook.

If I create an all day even on my TP2 during daylight savings, after Activesync runs, it will display from 1am on the scheduled day till 1am the next day using OWA or Outlook. For example, if I schedule an all day event on Friday March 19th 2010 on my TP2, after it syncs, it will display as starting at 1am on Friday March 19th and ending at 1am on Saturday March 20th using OWA or Outlook. On the TP2, it will display correctly as an all day event on Friday March 19th.

Recurring events scheduled for a date such as the 2nd Tuesday do not display this bug. Events scheduled outside of daylight savings do not have this bug. I have tested this with and without the latest Windows Mobile DST patch dated Aug 2009.

Windows Mobile 6.5 emulator images that are part of the Windows Mobile SDK do not have this bug during my testing.

Anyone else experience this bug?

Re: All day events appear one day early during daylight savings

I have the same problem with my HTC TP2 on Sprint. I haven't been able to get it fixed. I just noticed it in the last few days, but I'm not sure if it did start when the time changed in November.
Have you been able to fix it?
