Do all BT headsets SUCK?
I don't have a lot of experience with it but people are complaining my Motorola MBT555Z doesn't sound good. People often say "WHAT?" which makes me think they aren't hearing me very well. A guy just told me it sounds "distant". My buddy calls me using his and it breaks up and picks up a ton of background. My daughters sounds "fat" and picks up a lot of background. Are the noise canceling units any good. I wouldn't mind spending the cash if it improves the situation but I'm wondering if they're all crappy.

I just got a Bluetrek X2 and it's awesome. People say I sound crystal clear, even when it's pretty windy out.
Not to mention the X2 is water resistant....just an added plus. |
The nexzen has the best noise canceling ability going but I have had some connection problems with it. All small bluetooth devices have background noise problems, I have tried them all. Most of the noise canceling bluetooth devices work well, I would recommend the Motorola for loud locations, but not for comfort. I wear glasses so devices that hook the ear drive me nuts. I have read about 2 new devices that are coming out next year that are small and should have good sound, I will try to post a link here later if I can find them again. IMHO of corse, hope this information is useful I like my bluetooth devices. I currently have both of the Samsung's, a nexzen, and the treo.
