Windows Mobile 6.1 Help
 

I have a Verizon XV6800 and recently replaced my old one with a new one, I need to update it to windows mobile 6.1, however, the phone is no longer listed on http://pcdphones.com which is where Verizon Support sends you for the download. Does anyone know where I can download this os update? Thanks!!

You got a replacement phone (VZW or the insurance company) and you don't have 6.1 on it ? I would be shocked, MR2, the newest version of the software and it's been out for a while. They have not given out a phone with 6.0 in a long time. Are you sure you don't have 6.1 ????

As where to download....

I can't find it myself any more, I would call customer service and talk to a tech, to see where it is. Or just unlock the phone and put 6.5 on it (better anyway) like I did when I had mine.

I didn't purchase the replacement phone from Verizon, it was a friend's work phone, but their fleet of phones was replaced by the Motorola Droid, so when mine broke he gave the XV6800 to me. I was surprised though that it wasn't loaded with 6.1.
