Unhappy should be so easy but......

Hi guys, I am desperate for help, I have started a new job where they use windows mobile 6.5, with motorola PDA's,
All I want to do is to design a form with some fields to enter, and then have that form sent back to me via e-mail.

I know it sounds easy but here are my constraints:

- they will not host a database on the company server so html/php form is out of the question.

- they will not use any free/unsecure hosting (fair enough).

- the only thing i have access to is the exchange mail server.

I have tried a simple form in excel, but it was hard to navigate and wouldnt allow basic macros, formatting (dropdowns, radio buttons etc)

I have tried a plain HTML form using method = post mailtoxxx...etc...
but the e-mail sent back is empty and I don't know why (usine IE supplied with WM65PE)

I know that this may seem like a stupid post, but i'm just desperate now...., has anyone got any ideas at all? please?

Re: should be so easy but......

Used to have a similar need, not for actual work, but for our office football pool. We used a Word form, but I doubt that'd function in Word Mobile. We now use the free feedback form available at freedback.com, works great but involves HTML and an outside server. Hmm, doesn't Adobe have a PDF authoring package that can create forms? It wouldn't be free, but should work for you.

ahh thanks for the reply!!, At least know I know it's not only me hehe.

I've tried the fillable forms via Adobe acrobat but again adobe reader on the ppc will not allow me to fill in the "fillable form" =_=" ah well.

Re: should be so easy but......

Found this:

As of LiveCycle ES 2.5, our Mobile applications for iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Windows Mobile are capable of rendering forms! In order to develop a "form" that will work on the mobile devices, you need to use LiveCycle Guilde Builder, which is...

Here:

Adobe Forums: LiveCycle ES2 Mobile Applications

Wait, it also says:

The mobile client will not work without a concurrent LiveCycle ES implementation....

Re: should be so easy but......

If your employer is not willing to pay for Adobe's mobile client implementation (see last link above), then freedback.com can solve your issue nicely. You can put freedback's code into your own HTML so your form can custom fit your PPC screen:
