Upcoming Sprint phones w/ WinMo?

I hope this is the right forum for this. I am w/ Sprint and am currently using the Touch Pro, but I would like a new phone. I bought the Evo on June 4, but did not like it and have since returned it b/c there are several things about both the device and the OS I do not like. I would like to get another WM device, but don't like the TP2 and it seems Sprint does not have plans to release a new WM device anytime soon. I really like the HD2, but don't want to go to T-Mobile.

Does anyone know whether or not Sprint will be getting any new WinMo phones anytime soon??

By the looks of it not likely..only thing know is they are getting a WP7 phone...

As for the winmo, it got merged into the Windows Embedded tree..and from the looks of it the phones that will be released will be aimed strictly at businesses/corporate user.so expect them not to be the best speced phones....but you never know...

And other little nasties, such as long delays in porting applications to the new platform. I like a business oriented phone; however, the length of time is not acceptable. I am waiting for the next Android from Sprint that sports a real keyboard. The move will force me to carry a 2nd PDA, as one application I use will not be available for an unknown period of time (several years).

That would be the Samsung Galaxy S Pro

That is the one. I would like to stay with it, but frankly, without the application I use the most not being available for years, there is no reason to hang around. A 2nd PDA will be on my belt once again.

Why not just stockpile a few TP2's?

Right there with you. My only worry is that development of wm software is al but froze right now. I got to believe the 6.5.x is going to be the next version in some form maybe the enterprise stuff but somebody needs to keep developinng something.
