cracked screen: temp phone?
 

The screen on my Fuze has cracked and is now doesn't work with any touch..

Is it worth getting a temp phone for a few months, or just wait for a WP7 phone?

I can navigate ok with the d-pad, but some things are almost impossible without touch...

If you have insurance you can get a replacement from the insurance company. If no, you can buy a temporary phone and sell it once you get your new WP7 phone.

I have no insurance, the phone is old..

I'm just wondering which phone others would get as a temporary phone until the new WP7 phones come out..

You can get another fuze from ebay, they sell for a lil over $100 used. I personally have an htc snap as a backup phone, nice little qwerty phone. Att has the samsung jack pretty much the same form factor. I hope that helps.

+1 on this, there are quite a few floating around pretty cheap right now with having the EVO drop. I have seen really nice TP2's go for as cheap as 125 to 175 dollars.

I ended up going back to my OLD 8125..!

not too bad, LOVE the big keys on the keyboard!

It's actually pretty quick, zippier than I thought...

Just being able to use the touchscreen will get me through until WP7 phones come out...
