ringtone (text) repeats loudly durring phone calls

i would like to start by saying that this is my first time posting in a general area, rather then the specific device, so if i am posting in the wrong area, please tell me.

here is the problem, and im sure it has been asked before, but im having a hard time finding any answers.
when im in a phone call, and a text comes in, the text tone goes off three times consecutively, vary loud, and i cant hear what the person has said for that 5 or so seconds that the ring tone has gone off. is there a fix or tweak for this?

i have the Touch Pro 2 on verizon, with 6.5 stock at the moment, if this helps any.

Open Registry Editor to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Notifications\Reminders\AutoSnooze
AutoSnoozeMins=(value #)
chande that value to 2 if higher than that. Something similar to this happened to me on a custom rom and when I changed that down to two it stopped.
This would would happen to me during calls and opening emails.
Maybe this will work for you.

Thanks far the reply. I searched for and found the value but it is set at zero. Should I still change it to 2? Thanks again, I hope to get this figured out soon.

Try it and see if it works. It being at zero may be causing that issue.
