Cannot Sync
 
I have been using Active Sync 4.2 till today with only a slight problem here and there (It would "disconnect" even though it was still connected.

Tonight, it would not connect at all. I tried to delete and reinstall, and then I downloaded ActiveSync 4.5 and still does not make the connection. Any ideas what could be wrong? I am using a Treo 750v

I did a Hard Reset, which seemed to solve the problem. ActiveSync does seem flaky.

just seen this topic but yea activsync is very "flaky". that's why I don't use it anymore. I just sync with mail2web now. ;)

ActiceSync "disconnected while still connected via USB
 
I have experienced problems where ActiveSync would "disconnect" even though it was still connected via USB. Came across this fix, and the problem went away.

Its kind of an old fix, but worked very well.

I had a problem with Activesync but that was caused by my firewall. When my firewall was active and my laptop was connected to the web activesync couldn't find the Treo. When I disabled the firewall it worked again. Made some changes to the firewall and now all is good.
