help with uninstalling apps on htc snap

i have an htc snap on sprint running windows mobile 6.1. when uninstalling certain apps that i have downloaded most of the file deletes just fine except for one stubborn file. for example on point UI home when i delete it leaves a file named 2001. when i try to delete the folder it say if i try to delete the phone or programs may not work correctly (says the file is a system file). when i try anyways it says "problem deleting 2001. cannot delete file point ui home. access denied. be sure program is not write protected and not currently in use". i have 4 such apps with the same problem. can anyone help me with this so i can properly uninstall these apps once and for all?

Re: help with uninstalling apps on htc snap

One way that should solve this would be to hard reset, and then re-install just the apps you want.

Have you tried using something like Total Commander to delete the file as opposed to Windows Mobile File Explorer?

I do suggest you use TC to delete the file. But if it is a system file and was updated with a cab. Deleting will just restore the OEM system file
