PPCGeeks - Mms in 3.1??

After updating to 3.1 yesterday, expecying to see mms i looked at my messages and was surprised to see that i still didnt have it. Is this true foranyone else?

i have it on 3.0, i installed the hack yesterday, works good - i've gotten pictures, videos, even sound messages sent and received with no problems

i have a 32gb 3GS

3.1 in itself doesnt add the ability to send MMS. Officially, it will come in the form of a carrier update via iTunes on the 25th. however, as mentioned above, you can download the 5.0 carrier file from the beta rom and install it via iTunes now..it doesnt require jailbreaking and works just fine. As long as AT&T has removed the opt out code from your account (which they have been doing for quite some time leading up to the 25th), then you can use MMS without issue. I and 3 friends have been using it for 2 weeks now.

I have found complete directions on how to enable mms on firmware 3.1 here: http://adam.midlane.net/iPhone/iPhoneMMS.pdf

Myself and my father have tested this and it is working.

I updated to 3.1 today and loaded the carrier update.
If you do that, if you jailbreak make sure you use pwnagetools, cause redsn0w does not install cydia on 3.1 at this time....
