Yes folks. Iphone is now a PC. Somebody have win95 emulated on an iphone and now working on to run winXP. I know it's kinda useless but the fact that a full OS runs on a phone is still awesome. Prolly use it as mini UMPC is nice. This was done on Nokia n95 b4 and a lot of peeps thought it's cool. Click the image for the story and video in action.

stuff like this will make it hard to be anti iphone. gotta give credit where it's due. you can only ignore something that's remarkable for so long before you...join the club. windows mobile is the forerunner in phone operating systems...but the iphone is gaining on it real close and appears to me to be 'getting' real close to making it about a draw.

Lemme educate some folks. Iphone is no longer the "new kid on the block". It already has proven it's worth. It's on it's 3rd gen. It has 35,000 apps strong. Over a billion app DL's. Millions and millions sold worldwide. This is no longer a useless phone as some would think. I've been an Iphone poweruser myself and I gotta say, I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed WM. In this situation, We shouldn't be hatin' coz the only winners on this competion between WM and Iphone is us. The consumers because they make this devices better and better for our needs and of course our enjoyment.

what can you even do in win95 anymore?
I say the porter wasted his time on it.
would have been better to go to xp right away.
Then it could be of use.
but 95? I can't even open a few year old office documents on it? wtf is it good for other than minesweeper and solitaire?

he probably ported win95 because it was a lot easier to start with then xp. he just wanted to try it out so why not 95? heck if it dont work no worries BUT it did work so i say good job to him atleast he did it. then he decided hey if i can port 95 why not xp. why try to go the hard way when you dont even know if its possible in the first place?

well we have older ppc's that have had win95 on it,
don't see why he would have thought that he couldn't do it.
I do give props to the porter, but just saying,
this has been done on ppc's,
it would have been even more bad*** if it was xp.
then it would be something Completely new.
It's just another thing people think is new because the iphone just got it.
hahahahahahahaha.

fyi, majority of my posts are being sarcastic.
Can't wait to see if he does pull off xp though.
that could be very useful then.
