Jailbreaking
 

I am aware of the rules here that do not allow us to talk about anything remotely illegal. Although aple is currently in court, and have been in courf fo a very long time, trying to make jailbreaking an iphone illegal, it currently is not illegal. I wanted to be safe and make sure i was not going to be banned for talking about it. Are we permitted to?

if it was illegal there wouldnt be so much openness about it in the web, IMO its all good ATM

Exactly.
And considering how ppcgeeks is usually on top of illegal things on the site,
they probably wouldn't even have a iphone section if it was illegal to jailbreak it seeing as how you can't do much customizing without it jailbroken.

That is a perfect term for freeing an apple product from apple's captivity over those who are allowed to lease their products.

Also see the thread i poasted above. there is a link, in the bottom right of the text, to take you to the Dev-Teams blog. There you find the instructions from the jailbreakers themselves. It's super easy for Win or Mac. I have tryed on both.


Any questions just ask, and i will try my best to answer. If not i know of a couple good forums for this sort of things.
