Wifi tether
 

Since there is no untethered jailbreak for the 4S, is there any way to do wifi tethering without paying $30 a month extra? I don't use it enough.

Not that I have seen. All of the wifi tethering apps require that you be jailbroken and, until we get 5.0 jailbroken, you may be SOL. And to make things worse, one of the key developers who ran the site jailbreak.me for untethered jailbreaking (Comex), has taken an intern position at Apple and says that he will no longer do it (Link).

Of course other DEVs are working on it, but it may be longer than usual with Comex's talents in on it.

Then I guess no iPhone until jailbreak. Hurry up..lol
