ISO 5 Beta 1

Anyone else here running the ISO 5 Beta 1?

I'm running on my iPad and iPhone 4 - Like it a bunch...Going to run the tethered jailbreak tonight for all my Cydia goodness.

I usually wait for the GM since the betas are usually buggy.

I like the new notifications...On the lock screen is the way it should have been from the start. Now I can see who and what the message is and then decide if I want to address it right away or not.

Only down side is Jailbreak breaks ibooks...:(

Re: ISO 5 Beta 1

Been using it for a week, so far (remember only a beta)

-battery life isn't very good
-ipod app is buggy as hell
-sleep timer wont shut off ipod, I need to play a playlist w/repeat off when I go to sleep
-notifications are better but not great. Still no indicator on top bar when you have new messages. Sometimes the new texts aren't on my lock screen. Very minor though I'm sure that will be fixed soon.

Considering this is Beta 1, I'd say its a lot more along then I had thought. And from what I've read downgrading is as easy as a restore. So I'll keep it on till Beta 2 probably.

When is Beta 2 coming out? I'll wait when it comes out to try it out.

No one knows and Apple hasn't been very consistent in releases. Could be 2 weeks or a month, I'm hoping 2 weeks which would be very very soon lol

Wait a few days for some reviews before taking the plunge though. Sometimes they fix one thing and break another

In order to get it you have to be an apple developer ($99/yr) or know someone who is that would be willing to add your UDID to their account.
