it only works for IP4, Apple TV 2.0, and the new iTouch,

Comex is releasing the JB for the 3GS and 3G on 4.1 and 4.2 soon.

Also, after the JBs they will start to work on the unlocks for the new baseband on 4.1 and above.

That geohot guy us a jerk, he screwed them over with the limerain release.

The exploit they used can be saved for the next release. Until then you can use limera1n to jailbreak. Download Limera1n to Jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad, iPod touch 4G | Redmond Pie

I discovered it is best to not use windows 7 to run this. Try to find a computer with xp.

You can use Windows 7. Just be sure to right-click limerain.exe and select 'Run as Administrator'.
