anyone know how to convert an mp3 to an m4r (iphone ringtone file)? this would help a lot since apparently you can't just ssh an mp3 to your ringtone folder (i just tried)

Re: how to convert to m4r

Right click on the song you want in itunes and go to options cut the time down to what 20 seconds you want click get aac copy. take the copy and drag it to your desktop. the file extension should be .m4a change it to .m4r and double click should put it in itunes ringtone folder. or download the free ringtone converter google iringer.exe
