TouchPal for Android

I've used Touchpal 3.x on all WM my devices. I like the keyboard that came with the Hero but right now I'm pretty slow with the stock KB. Has anyone tried it on any android device ? Your thoughts? Was it a hassle to uninstall?

Re: TouchPal for Android

Yeah they a version for Android, I read it's less laggy also. To set your keyboard, press that little gear in the keyboard. To uninstall apps you if you downloaded from the store, you can uninstall from the store. If you installed a .apk from outside the store go into settings -> manage apps

Hmm, i'm a touchpal fan too but I'm really liking and getting use to the stock KB. Didn't know there was an android version. Might have to check it out.

Re: TouchPal for Android

I've always used TouchPal on my WinMo devices and swore by it, but I'm really starting to dig the stock Hero Keyboard. It's really really good and in my opinion, better at correcting my mis-typing than TouchPal on Android. But if you don't like the stock, TouchPal is definitely a good choice. Just make sure to change the portrait setting from full QWERTY to CooTek T+ as that's the good one.

Thanks for your input. You're so right about the mis-typing on the stock, I can pretty much mash anything and it knows the words. After having it 3 days I just discovered the keyboard calibration last night. I'm going to stick with the stock one for now and hopefully I will get faster.
