HTC Sync does not work on Windows 7

For you guys that just got the Hero and are following the instructions, you'll find that the ADB driver fails to load properly if you install it on any Windows 7 RC.

Just trying to give some easy access to the new Sprint Hero users. I'm dumb when it comes to android and come Sunday I believe there will be a huge influx of people equally dumb to android looking for answers.

We really need our own forum... hah.

the windows 7 RC is a copy of the Ultimate edition, I know the XP emulator was on board but it has since been released as a download (i heard it wasn't ready for the discs to be made so it would be available as a download), i would see if you can download the emulator then run HTC sync inside of that

I installed the Sync software on Win 7 32 bit RC and the software loaded. Then I plug in the phone and it worked perfectly. I am using Office 2007 and have had no issues.
