Question Can't connect my Samsung Replenish via USB

I am posting this here, because I searched and found not-a-one post regarding the Samsung Replenish. There is no place for it in the Android Samsung area, so here I am...

I have been trying to connect my phone via USB to my pc (Win 7 x32). It only charges. The PC doesn't see it at all. I think it connected one time a couple of weeks ago, when I tried it the first time, but I was just connecting for connecting's sake to see if it would do it or not. Now I'm trying to actually DO something (clean up what the original owner cluttered it with and then make it so all the apps install on the SD card).

Any ideas?[-o<

Thanks in advance,
Adam

Re: Can't connect my Samsung Replenish via USB

You need to get the USB drivers for it. After you install drivers if it still does not work, check the device manager and see if anything has a warning next to it and see if you can reinstall that driver manually.

As far as installing apps on SD card, not all apps allow you to move to sd card. To make all apps work on SD card you need to format it as EXT4. Though if you format it as EXT4 your pc will not be able to see the SD card anymore.

Hey adamtheestimator
As I know your device runs on Froyo, when you connect your phone to computer it use to popup a screen with options to choose from (charge only, USB teetering, connect to computer, etc; and a check box for default action). Seem you have checked that box and chosen charge only some time in past.
You can drag the notification bar and touch the USB connected notification, it will show you your available options.
Or you may go to settings and uncheck that default selection.
