Green Plus Spam Notifications?
 

Since last week, every afternoon, I've started getting spam notifications preceded by a green plus sign telling me to download various questionable apps and services. Obviously it's potentially dangerous stuff and I'd never click on anything from an unknown source.

But does anyone know where it's coming from and/or how to get rid of it -- other than clearing the notifications queue each time?

The messages only show up in the notifications pulldown. They are not coming in via messaging or SMS or GV.

It's air push from one of your apps. Get Addon Detector or Air Push Dectector from Play to find the offender.

Thanks alot. AD definitely pinpointed the offensive apps. Who knew? The bad guys keep getting smarter. It's good to have a way to monitor and get rid of them.

Yeah, Air Push Detector is a good application. I am using this.

It was very annoying to get unexpected messages. I was waiting for a very important message the other night, and got spam instead. Thank goodness for detector apps like these. I erased the culprit app, and gave it a negative rating on Play, too.
