OK 1st Problem. Can't get Wifes Epic to register Verizon or Brighthouse Emails
 

OK, the guy at the store setup a Gmail account for the wife when she picked up her phone yesterday. Last night and part of today I have been trying to get her Verizon and Brighthouse email accounts onto her phone. I go to the Email section, type in her email addresses and passwords and the phone scans for awhile and then comes back saying the username or password are not correct. Her phone is the Epic 4g from Sprint. Is there something I'm missing here? I even tried to set it up manually and still got the same response. Does Android not like to play nice with other email providers or is it more an issue of the Samsung?

I'm a complete noobie with these phones. I've never dealt with the Android OS as I've been a Windows guy for about the past 15 years so I'm starting from scratch here by becoming my wife's tech support. I have a lot to learn.

No Joy. tried it and I get the same username/password error as I do just running through the email app on the phone.
