album art wierdness
 

ok, so I just got my first android device; an X2.
How exactly does android handle album art?
I have the art tagged into the file itself so that it shows on my Garmin Zumo on the cycle, and it always showed on my TP2.

Now on the X2 very few of the albums are showing the album art, and the ones that do seem to be tagged EXACTLY in exactly the same way as the ones that don't!?!

I know somebody is going to reply that I should just download that album art grabber, but I myself want to know why its showing some and not others.

Maybe its not showing the ones that are 200x200 & smaller?.....?

ahh u went out and got an android? even after I advised not to and especially since mango has unofficially been released. as for ur issue at hand maybe the music player isn't compatible with custom album art. ud probably would be better off just using the album art grabber.

yeah, I did it eric, I must admit, the trophy nearly had me, but I just like the hardware on the X2. The trophy was extremely intuitive; most touch phones you hit the wrong thing occasionally, in my short time on the store floor I don't think that ever happened with the trophy. Maybe at my next upgrade I'll be back to WP7

the X2 is a very nice upgrade to my TP2. I was pretty skeptical going in, but when I was sitting on the couch and pulling up movies on the PC in my office with the stock setup I was hooked :).

the only thing I haven't liked so far, is this album art goofyness. I guess every OS has a fault or two.

oh, and the pixel size doesn't seem to matter...the quest continues.
