Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro2 (Sprint): Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2.1; en-us; SPH-D700 Build/FROYO) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

I haven't found any DEDICATED GPS apps for Android that do truck routing, and I've found many standalone GPS units made for trucks still miss a lot of weight/truck-restricted roads here in PA.

The good news is that both Google Navigation and TeleNav have done a good job for me of rerouting me should I come across such roads.

My advice: Stick with the free stuff, save your money, and just keep your eyes open behind that big wheel and have a good sense of direction.

My advice comes from 13 years in Logistics - the majority of those as a driver.

How is commerical routing different from other normal GPS program?

I use Navigator. It makes so much error. At night when you drive, the screen is glaring at you!

So now I use CoPilot 8 on it. Is this the best software for Android there?

What he means is this..there are roads which have restrictions on which vehicles can use the roads..specifically trucks..there are also low bridges where your truck can get stuck if its too high..he wants a GPS unit that avoids these kind of situations.
