Facebook contact sync issue

So I got a Droid 2 as a replacement for my TP2 from Asurion today.

Is there a way to hide my facebook contacts on the phone but still allow the google contacts to sync the picture from facebook?

Navigate to your contacts press menu button press view or display option button and you should be able to uncheck a toggle there.
