Picking my next Android smartphone.
Hey everyone, need some suggestions on which path I should take.
Im currently using a HTC Touch Pro 2 on Telus. Its been an amazing phone, but I think its time that I move on to android and pass this phone on to someone else. Just having a little trouble picking. I plan on definitely using emulators on this phone, and playing games, but I also text a lot so a hardware keyboard is a real plus. I don't think I could live with a touchscreen keyboard. I have kind of narrowed it down to 2 major choices : Motorola Atrix from Bell - $99.99 + 3 year contract Droid 2 Global Unlocked from Ebay. - $280 unlocked ready for any network Both phones are supported on Bell, Telus , and Rogers. Just wondering about hardware capabilities. Droid 2 global has a single core 1.2ghz processor, where as the Atrix is dual core 1.0Ghz cpu. I have no doubt the Droid 2 could hit 1.4 with a little bump ;) The Atrix has 1GB of ram vs Droid 2's 512mb. But with the droid 2 you get a great keyboard, and that almost seals the deal for me. Gah! Decisions are so hard. Opinions! Which should I pick? The quick Droid 2 Global or the beefy Atrix? |

Question is..how long are you willing to hold out?
