Question about the Galaxy S and rooting. ( sprint/T-mobile)

I'm thinking of buying a Galaxy S but I have sprint and don't wan the epic. I'd rather have the version without the flip-out keyboard which I think is for GSM and not CDMA. Is there a way to root the phone to work on CDMA if it's sold for GSM?

Thanks

LOL no. The problem is hardware, not software. You need a phone with a CDMA radio.

That's like trying to pirate an apartment. Just doesn't work, you can't download a house!

No the verizon galaxy S is CDMA as well, Verizon and Sprint are both CDMA, T-Mobile and AT&T are both GSM. So a verizon phone can theoretically work on sprint but a lot of work has to be done in order to do that, its not easy. and a T-mobile phone can work on AT&T but it must be unlocked and support the same radio bands, especially for 3G access.
