Transfering SMS messages from a TP2 to a Droid X?
After more than 4 1/2 years, I am finally jumping from Windows Mobile to Android. Problem is, I have 1,000's of texts saved over that 4 1/2 year span. Any way to transfer them from my Touch Pro 2 to the Droid X? I use SMS Import to transfer between Windows Mobile now. Saves them in .XML format.

Why do you need the national archives on your device?

As far as i know there are some sms backup apps on the market. but i think they back up the droid database and re-import it, in database format not xml.
