Facebook pics on contacts

So b4 I cleared my fone I had contact pics from Facebook now I don't and can't figure out how when I manually try to link them in the address book I have none of my friends? I am logged into Facebook app and Facebook for HTC sense

its a known issue with HTC. i've sent them an email and there is a thread in their support forums as well. i have had the same problem since about last week. go to htc.com and either call or contact them. that way if enough of us do that it will raise the level of priority and hopefuly they will fix this bug asap. one tech told me its a problem with facebook, another said it was a problem with their servers. either way its a problem that HTC knows about.

yea the thread i was posting in is now gone not sure why.... i can manually set my contact pictures now but not sure how to auto sync them any ideas?

If your facebook online directory is working now, edit a contact and link them to their facebook profile.

This will use their fb picture as their contact pic.

yea as i said i can manually set them i want to know how to get it to auto sync

Settings > Accounts & Sync > Facebook for HTC Sense

Make sure Sync Contacts is checked. You can also go into Account Settings to change the update schedule
