Hey guys, thought Id start a thread over here in the Diamond Forum for people to post all there favorite and most used Diamond apps, games, utilities, etc,etc,etc..
Ill start, ok top to bottom

1) Capsure= A nice easy to use screen capture app.
2) G-Alarm= A reliable and loud Alarm Clock.

3) MyLight= a simple backlight adjustment tool
4) Tanglebugs= (Game) try to untangle the spiderwebs
5) BubbleWrap= (Game) No point, just pop the bubblewrap, over and over
6) Pocket sand= (Game) No point, but a great time waster
7) itouch= (Reg Edit) sets your screen sensitivity to max
8 ) Batt Level= Vista hite batt meter. Makes a thin multicolored line at the top of the screen

10) psSHUTXP= gives you the option to turn off screen, power off device, soft reset or hard reset, already mapped to the long press power button

2) 7-Zip= file compression app
3) Official Diamond Facebook app
4) (Reg edit) improve camera quality
5) Google Maps= newest version as of right now
6) HTC WIFI sharing= turns your phone into a wifi Router
7) TouchResponse= haptic feed back for your Diamond
8 ) VSPainter= free Paint software= this was the last free version of this app
9) Web Video Downloader= download and save your favorite Youtube Videos
10) Bing= New version of Windows Live Search (simlear to google maps)

good stuff Yearn. Here are a few more:

1. shake and save: Great screenshot app!
2. miniv8: all in once jbed, opera mini and shortcut for opera mini version 4.2 final.
3. miniv9: same but for the new opera mini 5 beta
4. mdigger: nice rss reader app. can install this to internal storage and cache stores there as well freeing up memory on the device.
5. ietoggle 1.2: great app allowing you to switch from ie to pie.
6. rotatescreen 1.1: provides a nice shortcut to the start menu for you to instantaneous rotate your screen.

Good Idea for a thread thanks guys for the post

I take no credit for any of these just a few that I use and may be useful to others:

1) Finger Keyboard 2.1-Good alternate input
2) Marketplace- Marketplace with ability to install programs on storage card
3) Marketplace Reg Fix- Fixes errors loading marketplace
4) Midomi- Music ID (has option to sing song for recognition)

Here's a couple that I use ...

Batti - like vistahide battery guage, however I use a small thin white line, instead of the rainbow

icontact - good finger friendly contact application

sktools lite - includes a very good ram manager, and memory manager

I really like Midomi, its very accurate to bad you cant save your finds somehow.

Thanks goes out to everyone thats posted on here. I wish I had a cab that isnt already wildly popular! ive wasted a good hour with the sand game and midomi works amazingly, with the exception of not keeping a list of previous tags.

No Problem! By the way, I have a new opera mini v2 with jbed all in one cab. Using this one alot these days in case anyone needs it. also, the latest windows live update, that supposed to work better with 6.5. here you go!

update: also added UCWeb which to me is working faster than mini now! nice new ui as well.

Here is my list of must have free apps---

SportyPal - GPS based exercise program that tracks progress and keeps records of your workouts.

Flix - GPS enabled program that finds movie theaters in your area and it gets the movies playing along with descriptions, trailers, etc. Works in US, Canada and some of Europe

Swype - My new favorite keyboard!

Smart Phone Tracker - allows you set up a secret keyword to SMS to your phone and it secretly emails or texts the GPS location with a link to Google maps and/or takes a picture of the location that your pda is currently in. (I've had to use it one time to find my Diamond and it worked fantastic)

MToolbox - A suite of tools for fun or actual use. Contains a Water Level, Ruler, Light Sensor, shock sensor and angle meter.

FYI, that's in one of the first lists of .cab files in this thread......go see! :)

I am looking for just a basic dialer for the diamond. I do know of the Slide to unlock and the swype style keyboards. Not really what I am wanting though. Anyone know where the dialers are???

Edited: I am downloading different ones now and have to say that I'm truly impressed with swype!!!! I love it. :)

free caddie - free gps sky caddie Get FreeCaddie Software (I'm actually running older version 1.3.1 with no issues (multiple releases available here, including pro version which you must pay for, i've never bothered although I'm tempted because it really helps my game!) I need to use devicelock posted below to keep the screen locked in my pocket)
