Ok, wow... getting lost here as to what is for what, and what fixes who's sys and why... IU am liking this 28219 Sys, seems fast and stable. What was the dialer / call log issue? Do I have to worry about it?

Also, anyone running this SYS on VZW?

I finally got 24001 working the way I like it. Finally after flashing all day. No scroll on the dial pad, and working call history.
I have to say this build is screaming!!!!

I fixed the dialer by using a package I had been using with SSK3.0.
Just place it here so it's last to build:
\Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitchen v1.5 RC\EXT\Shared\
It did default the battery icon to stock, so I have some ironing out to do.

Mikee4fun - How are you handling the dialer scrollbar? My research tells me it is phcanrc.dll, but had trouble dropping it into the kitchen, so I added the attached package.

Long flashing day, time for bed!!

Just replaced the following 23519 packages from 23518 SYS. Phone_Lang_0409_DPI_192, PhoneRedist_Lang_0409_DPI_192, Phone_DPI_192, PhoneRedist_DPI_192, Phone_Lang_0409, PhoneRedist_Lang_0409, Phone, PhoneRedist

I also used your cprog to fix the call history issue. Everything seems fine.

For your battery issue the phcanOverbmp.dll must be in the dialer package. Just copy the battery phcanOverbmp.dll you want and overwrite the one in the dialer package. You should be set.

I uploaded the wrong tweaked 23519 SYS so I re uploaded it and everything should be rockin'

I deleted some packages I never use in this sys. I also included Office 2010 and the newer IE from 28217. When you initially launch IE it shows the Calk Kitchen splash and after that it is fine. Not sure why it is doing that but all is good.

Damn, can't seem to get Garmin XT running on 24001. I built the ROM with a 16mb pp but Garmim XT just won't install. I even tried shutting down Sense and installing but same result, it just hangs. Not sure why, but in the past when I've had this issue with other ROM's it's usually memory related.

I may try to reset the ROM with a smaller PP and see if I get the same results. I'm kinda having the same issue with 28217 too but I was able to get Garmin running by shutting off Sense. So I'm on 28217 for the time being.

Anyone using 24001 get Garmin XT to run?

Also, anyone get the call history working on 28217?

Ugh, I also have to shut down Sense in order to run the new Slingplayer(2.0), just like Garmin XT. Seems like 28217 and 24001 are a bit of a memory hog. I'll have to try running a 12mb PP on these, instead of the 16mb I am running now and see if that helps.

anyone have any issues with swype not playing nice with 23518? it works the first time i switch over to it but after that, the system soft resets or locks up if i try to use it. and it doesn't allow me to change keyboards from within any messaging software without locking up or having a system soft reset.

any ideas?
